The panic that has taken over the drivers of societal development will not, cannot, stop intensifying. It manifests as event mania all over the world. The rapidity of calculated savagery combined with the colossal incoherence associated with describing happenings is at all time bizarre. Like when ISIS was coming behind the retreated armies in Iraq and collecting the caches of weaponry that were left there because??? Warfare, pestilence, depravity, cataclysm, and madness may not be the only description this age, but it sure is a strong one. All social indoctrination, fear pornography, and trauma is whipped up to detach anyone paying attention to current events from life, life’s source, and the practices of accessing and nurturing it. Thus the increase in the rate of breaking headlines and hype driven storylines. Public attention domination ensues, it lingers, it eventually dissipates. Dissipation won’t do. Hence those that endeavor to keep a stranglehold on social control, blast constant propaganda, and pull trigger after trigger on multi phase attacks versus people and planet everywhere. This attention domination strategy works wonders to control the viewer, right up to the point of diminished return. Try remembering what the critical events of a year ago, last month, last week, yesterday. How is it that illnesses, invasions, natural disasters, and all could be so dominant at once, and then seem to not matter at all? Remember when nothing mattered but the missile crisis, or the North Korean nuke? How about the Iranian nuke, or the Russian meddling? 9-11 or October 7? One minute it’s Epstein, the next minute it’s cognitive decline, then it’s insider trading. Wait?! There’s a riot at the capital!! So it goes in the arena of attention grabbing, pay attention to what we tell you, social engineering. Under this influence one might come to believe that existence is a continuous stream of trouble. If, however, one were to spend some time disconnected from the news of the world the attention can transfer quickly, and the influence drops off fast. Another world is waiting to be born.
Over the past couple weeks, or maybe even months, a brave new phenomena has been coaxing. There’s been a subject void of politics, war, finance, environment, sports, all of it. Subject vernacular has shifted to a much more organic, “What are you up to?” and “This is what we’ve been up to.” series of discussions that are ranging into ideas, memories, stories, and cultural subjects not common or developed in the longest time. What kind of pleasant inheritance is this? Could it be that something other than existential peril might matter? Seems so. The earth didn’t cease to spin just because we weren’t drilling into the most recent disaster and outrage. As a matter of fact, it feels like there are worlds of untapped interest from which to learn. Life is already more full for the wake cut into new territory rather than the regurgitated repeat of the friend and foe political rap of the here-to-fore generational posterity. Maybe, just maybe, the rotational velocity of the whirlpool vortex that’s been pulling all the attention in, is about to start spinning some out. On the way out there have been what you might say are sparks of originality. In brief a world of wonder in which to spread, and explore. This is the beginning of a trip. It’s like breath of fresh air; while the old vernacular could not get a whole lot more stale. Stale with a stabbing persistence of discontent, anger, violence, and casualty. In order to get to some different place would figure to go some different way. C’est la vie.
In this short departure from the persistent pattern of modern world propaganda one world view has changed. There’s a sense of growth. It’s grown immediately from the eerie sense of unsustainable imminent demise to a, what if there are possibilities of relief yet to perceive? Neat thought. So while the modern world races to the next report of loss in a debris field, or under a pile of rubble, some others pace themselves with an alchemical like change of elemental improvement. All that’s required is to steer clear of perpetual media cycle reporting. Some have already gone. Perhaps you’re next.
