I swear, official stories, legacy news reports, and official historical accounts are like discernment competence tests, or better yet, absurdity tests. The shock and awe propaganda information weaponry, commonly thought of as the news, in modern society has reached hyperdrive. Current events are a form of informational flak working constantly to preoccupy anyone listening with inane regurgitated pointlessness while matters which may actually matter are buried in the margins as conspiracy theories waiting to happen. Right now, the entirety of the human civilization story is basically a grand mixed up mess. Individual elements of that story exist in vacuums of stand alone patches of incoherency spun by victors of conflicts and wars. Example: The North American Manifest Destiny epic promotes the heroic liberation of the continent from an indigenous First Nation of savages by a divinely inspired colonizing force of mercenary aliens. Depending on the view angle of this continental displacement/replacement, Manifest Destiny is either special delivery cultural advancement or genocidal disaster. To characterize this chapter of human history as principled or honorable might be tempting, but it’s really up for grabs. On one hand it is a point of principled societal pride, on another it’s a cultural disaster, and humanitarian tragedy.
The North American imperial takeover is one case of a kind of cultural mirage. The matter of historical narration control is an effective rudiment of absurdity. Manipulating, distorting, and twisting factuality to provide the appearance of favor has a shelf life of sustainability. Combine this with the overarching phenomena of gratuitous violence, anesthetic cruelty, and critical indifference can push one through tolerance points of reconciliation. Either one is going to proceed apathetically through life, or reach a flash point of critical thought awareness in which formerly held positions of trust and reliability melt. With the meltdown, formerly held ideas and beliefs, that were taken for granted on faith, fall apart. All of a sudden, news the modern world begins to seem absurd.
Violence is the trigger. Civilization has a legacy of violence that runs like a thread through the entire course. Each bit, and in total, is an element of the human story which has an indelible stamp. It wouldn’t be possible to identify civilization without violence; evaluate it. There are so many episodes of violence. There is a nearly inexhaustible account of violence and extreme violence. Pick one… 9-11.
The Pentagon, as secure as any installation on earth, had a commercial airliner crash into it in 2001. Try finding the first bit of video anywhere of that plane. It’s out there. There is film footage that was released some four and half years after the crash. That’s right. One video. Released in May of 2006. The video ‘showing’ Flight 77 ‘slamming’ into the Pentagon does not show a plane. Absurd.
Three buildings in the history of steel reinforced concrete high rise construction have ever had catastrophic failure resulting in collapse; three. They all happened on the same day. For a construction method for which thousands of buildings around the world rely on, and continue too, to have three catastrophic failures all on the same day. Absurd.
Out in PA on the same day an off track Flight 93 disappears. Literally disappears. Unlike any other plane crash of any other place or time, there’s nothing at the site of the crash; nothing. Absurd.
These are three quick, profound cases of the accepted minimal requirement storylines of impossibly low proof to be installed as facts in a chapter of supreme double dealing motives. So onward goes a controlled procession of events that rely on remarkably flimsy, because we said so, accounts. A procession of domination monopoly acts that have no bound of profundity. Violence, destabilization, destruction, and injustice throttle up with these, and an intense litany of other wildly absurd claims provocation and cause. One explosive event after the next, like the chief executive of the US declaring the that there will be an end to Nord Stream 2. Nine months later when it in fact blew up that same chief executive denied responsibility. The lunacy continues with the suggestion and speculation is that the party using the infrastructure blew it up themselves. The absurdity just goes on and on, while resource tugs of war get tighter and tighter, and the collateral toll mounts. All the while the protagonists of the resource wars continue to emphasize and rely on the ever increasingly cheap fallacy accounts for justification and leverage. In its own right, this is a most mind numbing absurdity.
Without any further ado commences coherence and absurdity testing. Discernment begins where absurdity ends. Critical thought abandonment and discernment competency have been crippled long enough. That’s a line that each must draw for oneself. One thing for sure, any government anything, from any government anywhere goes straight into the coherence cross reference function. BS-ing of the public may not be a worldwide phenomena, although until further notice, that’s how it will be considered. I mean for crying out loud, how much mayhem has to break out before stopping and stating, “This is absurd.” This may not help one get any closer to what actually is, however, at this point one can’t get further away.
