Contemplations about the state of affairs in the modern world routinely result in suspicions of dread. A persistent contemplative influence is geopolitics. The context of the thinking here is not about relationships of nations, and states, but rather of the interests of corporate alliances. In other words, national boundaries exist only on maps and in disrespected legal apparatus. Kind of like an elaborate daydream for Mario Puzo on a global chessboard. A three headed chess piece of modern vintage is the one representing the Saudi-Israeli-USA alliance. For purposes of this discussion, let’s call this chess piece Cerberus. The object of the geopolitical chess game is imperialistic domination. The strategy of the entity moving Cerberus is aggressive. The attitude is bold. The mental attitude appears psychopathic. The dread is that Cerberus is over leveraged, out of gas, desperately lost, rationally empty, bankrupt, and operating with Nero Decree dtermination. Rather than surrender to certain, inevitable, failure, destroy everything. Leave nothing for “the enemy”. The enemy, in this case, includes its own populace. Dread at the end of a modern geopolitical contemplation.
