Humanity boasts plenty of pioneering scientific discovery, and achievement. The unravelling of the nature of reality, the properties of the elements that make it up, and the clever harnessing of this stuff is a human point of pride. A material, mechanized, industrial, and technological revolution has ensued and evolved. There’s an interesting pattern that’s part of this evolution, quite notably with the industrial revolution. Scientific discoveries are followed by a rush to implement them in some new technology. The rush pushes the process through a potential collective critical thought phase of development without regarding the overall balance of nature. The cheap element of this pattern is that the populace that’s using the products they’ve been sold are subsequently blamed for the pollution and problems that result; side effects, if you will. Energetic and material discoveries, as fascinating as they may be, are no more fascinating than the suicide level dysfunction that comes with using them. Regardless, here we are bickering about gaslit descriptions of reality that are tainted with conflict of interest prejudice. We can thank the captains of industry and money for getting the ball rolling on this so called version of progress, although one must look in the mirror about breaking this pattern. Anyhow, just like in the game of golf, you gotta play it where it lies.

There are innumerable symptoms of progress in the modern world. Storage, data backup, and iCloud storage is a big order of the here and now. AI data storage is something of a rage. Data from the space age to the banking/market transaction behemoth and down to your phone’s photo album saved byte by byte is an intense premium. The volume of the entire internet, conservatively right now, is like 300 ZB, that’s 300 zettabytes. A byte is a volume of information, and the total volume is growing all the time. Hence, the persistent desire to generate ways and means of storing the ‘sacred’ data. So, when browsing the news these days it’s common to come across reports of data storage current events. It’s actually kind of old news. It has the twists and turns of uses, shortages, demands, and requirements. Of course like many contemporary subjects of modern world, the reports are critically thin; context poor. They are more like announcements of authoritarian roll outs dressed up like upgrades, tools, and plans sold as advancements that will raise the standard of living and improve the quality of life. Of course it is accompanied with the inherent alert that this may not be ok. Here we go again.

Who doesn’t take advantage of computing technology? It’s convenient, and there’s no denying it is remarkably useful. That’s one way of looking at it. Binary processing devices have saturated the environment, and are a near unavoidable feature in the experience of everything these days. Exactly where on the scale of diminished returns are we right now?, It’s well established that popular critical thinking is not a part of societal development, so who really says that this is the way to process, slash micro-process, and store information? Consider the source. When comes to the requirements of space and resource to remember the granular elements that supposedly make concerns, securities, posterity, and even day to day life possible, what is the actual deal? That answer requires context, perspective, and calm discernment that is in major league short supply right now. That said, who says you can’t brainstorm on your own.

Apparently, the average data storage facility can hold several petabytes up to multiple exabytes of information. They take up about 100,000 square feet of building space and roughly 40 acres of land. With enterprise, and innovation, the storage capacities are likely to grow in size and efficiency no doubt. It looks like there are roughly 500,000 facilities worldwide now. Keeping pace with the demand for storage is a tech priority. Hence the build, build, build storage facility phenomena. This is hardware management of physical space to hold digital information. In every zettabyte there are 1,000 exabytes. In every exabyte there are 1,000 petabytes. That makes 1,000,000 (1 million) petabytes in a zettabyte. That’s a description of information storage capacity.. There are other mediums in which to store data, but who would know? DNA is one of them. DNA is stored memory. Each person has about 45,000 petabytes of storage available in their DNA. Think of that capacity. 300 zettabytes is 300 million petabytes. Divide 300 million by 45 thousand, and what do you have? 300,000,000/45,000=6,666.666666… (Ironic that these conservatively estimated numbers resulted in 666 repeating) That’s less than 7,000 people. Obviously the methods and means of accessing the storage base would be alternative to today’s big tech ways. It would come as no surprise to know that indigenous cultures were, and in some cases maybe still are, coding memory into the DNA of their posterity through rites and rituals that the conquering imperialists of recorded history have worked to obliterate with genocide. Can’t have people doing for free what we want to charge for. The really big questions are, what do we want the memories for, what’s a healthy format, and what exactly is the impact? It feels like the overall experience with the modern world is a short sighted expediency that is estranged from any kind of responsibility to the greater good. The DNA thought only came to mind because the capacities were mentioned in a sacred geometry text. It’s not even the only pre-existing data storage resource. You never even hear about the Akashic Records.

Some of us have slowed our roll with the idea that expediency is more valuable than sustainability. Sit for a minute with a seed. All the information for that bush, tree, flower, veggie, or fruit is in that seed. From germination through bloom to seed again. It’s all in there. Abundance is at hand. What suggestion could really ever persuade that this needs improvement? In some digital data bank somewhere resides the code for the weed killer. A more hearty, more efficient, harvest is possible if the farm field is devoid of the weeds. At scale, apply the broad spectrum systemic herbicide to kill off the weeds competing with the product. Modify the seed of the agricultural product to allow it to survive the killer herbicide. Keep all the formulas, plans, and plausible denial stored in the iCloud, claim intellectual property, lawyer up and dominate a self created industry. Meanwhile, there’s a dream wandering curiosity traveler (gardener) sitting in the garden holding a seed in a kind of meditation on the miracle of life. One of these paths leads to the somewhere, the other leads somewhere else. It probably doesn’t require a research team, a scientist, or a super computer to know which path is sustainable.

Monster companies are fear threatening the populace with intellectual superiority claims all the time. It’s a din. The cleverly branded encyclopedia Goliath, aka AI, looming over everything is nothing short of a decadent hack job. It’s a hijacking control grab based on a smoke and mirrors manipulation of learning programs and stored data. It has nothing to do with creation. It exploits creation. Corporate lunatics on a massive power trip are operating on this sick notion that the person in charge is the one that dominates the Newtonian plane of existence. Throw in a few metaphysical tricks, and trap the audience in a Hotel California confinement pen where they can be raped and have their blood drained. The captives themselves can be found celebrating the captors with Stockholm syndrome deluxe. Also, while complaining big time about their social system down pressing them unfairly, they insist that the system be imposed around the world. It is actually referred to as freedom. Talk about mixed up?!

This is a bill of goods. The cheap hack commonly called advanced technology is a fascinating, yet marginal novelty. You have to be historically misled, duped, and confused to bow down to anything that’s always telling you that it is superior. For the love of hell, reams and reams of physics, loads of pioneering brilliance, and a fortune in resources all have to be applied in order to do what an acorn does for free. One acorn.
